IES utilizes a straightforward methodology that focuses on the logistical requirements of implementations as well as deployment critical path concerns. The methodology concentrates on the implementation and support of E1 software, not on low-value add documentation, high-level fluff diagrams nor political aspects of organizations – IES maintains a deliberate application of centered attention on implementations, without hesitation or equivocation.

IES has reduced the lifecycle of the project into nine phases:

Discovery Phase

Data Gathering, Questionnaires,
Executive Direction

Preparation Phase Checklists, Change Control, Deployment 101, Project Plan, Project Budget, Kickoff
Business Processes Integrated Business Processes
Model Phase Business Requirements, Chart of Accounts, Business Units, Security
Set Up Phase Configuration
Test Phase Conference Room Pilots
Training Phase End User Training
Cutover Phase Conversion and Go Live
Support Phase Support Handoff

The IES tool set has been designed to work specifically within these nine phases, but can also used as a supplemental resource within any major accepted methodology as published or practiced by by the Big 4 or major professional services organizations.
